About Fatehpura

Fatehpura is a well-known neighbourhood in northern Udaipur, built around the busy Fatehpura Circle. Roads from the Circle lead to Bedla Road, Vidya Bhawan Road and Sukhadia Circle, and the area is usually spoken of as Old Fatehpura and New Fatehpura.

The area is closely linked with the Vidya Bhawan Society, founded in 1931, whose senior secondary school, public school and polytechnic college are here. Syphon Chauraha on Bedla Road is the other main crossing, with schools, banks and clinics around it.

Daily needs are close at hand, with supermarkets around the Circle and on the road to Sukhadia Circle, branches of all the major banks, coaching classes for IIT, NEET and RAS, and hospitals such as Lakecity Hospital and Star Hospital.
