About Bhuwana / Bhuvana

Bhuwana and Pulla were once two separate neighbouring areas. As the city grew they spread into each other, and the road that runs between them is now known as Pulla Bhuwana. Today the names Bhuwana, Pulla and Pulla Bhuwana are used almost interchangeably for the whole area.

The Pulla Bhuwana road is the busiest stretch, home to Nexus Celebration Mall, the biggest shopping destination here, and the Navratan / Modern Complex market. R K Circle on the Bhuwana Bypass was originally counted as Pulla, and Bhuwana Circle on NH-8 links the area to the highway and the rest of the city.
